9th ANNUAL ALABAMA BUTTERBEAN FESTIVAL IN PINSON (3/4OCT2014)

NJRC@ABBF was a great success and a fun time was had by all who participated, including many of the statewide and local candidates. The bags were a big hit with the festival goers; we actually ran out of them around 3 o'clock [1,100 bags].  We talked with several people in the North Jefferson area who are interested in coming to our meetings.

In addition to handing out the bags of information, we gave samples of Charlie's BBQ's smoked turkey breast (NJRC's Fall Fundraiser), along with information on how to order them so the club will get a portion of the sales.

Thanks so much to all who worked so hard in setting up and taking down, stuffing bags and talking to folks....because of you, we were able to put good information in a lot of people's hands today.  Charlene Holmes
